Goodreads synopsis: Lara Jean is having the best senior year. And there’s still so much to look forward to: a class trip to New York City, prom with her boyfriend Peter, Beach Week after graduation, and her dad’s wedding to Ms. Rothschild. Then she’ll be off to college with Peter, at a school close enough for her to come home and bake chocolate chip cookies on the weekends.

Life couldn’t be more perfect!

At least, that’s what Lara Jean thinks…until she gets some unexpected news.

Now the girl who dreads change must rethink all her plans—but when your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?

My thoughts: This book was a good conclusion for the series. It made me super nostalgic and warm feeling! 🙂

I love the evolution of Peter and Lara Jean’s relationship. We are now moving into real issues that young couples go through during their senior year of high school and approaching college years. I found all of that to be really realistic and relatable.

The characters are still great and even more so since theres no Josh and barely any Genevieve (my least favorite characters) although I wished Lara Jean and Gen could have had more closure in their relationship but theirs was a more realistic ending. I just had wishful thinking. And Trina’s character is great! I love how well she fits into the family but also brings her own personality and flavor to it as well.

I gave this four stars because I found it to be a little predictable. It wasn’t bad; I just saw it all coming. But it did put a nice little end cap on this series and for that I am grateful for it.

Again, this is a great series to read this summer especially before the Netflix movie comes out in August!
